Romans 8:18…a bible verse that has gotten me through so many of my life’s most difficult times. There are moments when I don’t know where to turn to or who to ask for help. I’ve always believed that during the hardest times of my life, the only one who will always be there for me 100% of the time is God. The Bible clearly states it when you read Bible verses such as Joushua 1:9, Deuteronomy 31:6, Isaiah 41:10, and so many more.
These verses were created specifically for those hard times. God wants us to know that no matter what we’re going through, He is always by our side. The pain you’ve been feeling, can’t compare to the joy that’s coming. Sometimes we feel like there is no way we can get out of a certain situation. Or maybe you feel like there is no more hope. Just remember that when you are at your life’s lowest point, there is no other direction to go but up. There is no fear or pain that you can’t overcome with the help that God will bring to you. Once you have the Lord in your heart and soul, you will feel at peace. And trust me, it’s the most comforting feeling in the world. Something that no one and nothing can take away from you.
Sometimes we have to reflect in the past in order to learn from our mistakes. But there is one guiding hand to help you take steps toward a better future. God will strengthen us and help us, he will hold us with his righteous right hand just like he lets us know in the Bible. There is no more comforting reassurance when you believe in a God that you might not be able to see, but you can always feel.
God will never leave your side and even when you think He has left and there is no more hope, you will feel His love through prayer and wherever you go you will know He is right there with you. Praying can be hard at times. I know because that has happened to me. Sometimes you feel so down that you think to yourself, “how is praying going to change anything.” Trust me, when you pray to God with all your heart and believe that what you are asking for will come true (in other words, have faith), God is listening to your every word and is working on your request. It may take time or it may not. Just remember, God’s timing is perfect.
